AGL Corporation, manufacturer of laser products and surveying equipment, located in Jacksonville, Arkansas, is looking for experienced professionals in the following fields:
NORTHEAST REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Reports to: NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
ACCOUNTABILITY
The Regional Manger is responsible for all dealer sales activities, in the North East US & Eastern Canada. This includes identifying, establishing a business relationship, training, maintaining and supporting them, insuring continued loyalty for AGL Construction Laser products, with the goal to improve market share and sales volume according to the sales goals established for the region.
NATURE & SCOPE OF POSITION
Position requires a high level of people skills and excellent judgment to tactfully handle end-users and dealer personnel to achieve successful results.
Goal is to manage and expand the current network of Construction Laser Specialists, Survey Instrument Dealers, as well as Light, and Medium Equipment Dealers to promote our line of lasers for General Contractors, Storm and Sanitary Sewer Contractors, and Site Preparation and Excavating Contractors. Travel of 3 or more nights a week is fairly certain.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous Success in a Direct Sales Position.
- Understanding the difference, or ideally having experience in both concept and brand sales
- Moderate mechanical capabilities
- Familiarity with Construction terminology and processes a plus
- High Level of common sense and good oral and written communication skills
- Good capabilities with Microsoft Office products
- Experience in some type of training or teaching capacity desirable
- Bachelors or advanced degree desirable
- Ability to motivate people over whom you have no direct authority
- Experience working with or for one or more of the target distribution channels desirable.
